My experience at the facility was quite interesting, to say the least. The price of 3000 yen (23 usd) is pretty hefty, but it does include two towels and a robe, and you can stay for 12-14 hours, even sleep there. I guess that explains why it’s so expensive.
However, despite the price, the facility does have a lot to offer. The clerk was helpful and dutiful, and the maintenance staff was doing their best to keep the place clean, which I really appreciated. I visited on a weekday evening, and it was very empty. Apparently, it’s busier on the weekends. It has potential, and perhaps it could be a great choice for some people.
One great thing about the facility is that it has a variety of amenities. The facility has 2 tanning beds, showers, 3 tubs, 1 sauna, 1 mist sauna, and a couple of other dark rooms. All of them are located on the same floor, which is quite convenient. The other floors offer dorm-style rooms to sleep in.
However, the cleanliness is questionable. I was pretty grossed out, but it wasn’t too terrible. It’s an old place that isn’t glamorous by any means, but I suppose it gets the job done. There is definitely some room for improvement in this area.
Overall, I came for the experience, and it was interesting, to say the least. However, I don’t think I’ll be returning in the future. The facility has potential, but the cleanliness issue is a significant drawback. I’d give it 3 stars for effort and the helpful staff, but there are definitely some areas that need improvement.
